Ordered a color matched painted license plate frame from RPI Designs for my C-7.
ReplyDeleteThe part took about 3 weeks to process. I was heading out on vacation and had not received it so I called to have it sent to a different address. I was assured it would ship the next day and the address would be changed so it was not sitting on my front porch for 2 weeks. They DID NOT change the address - It shipped to the address I originally specified - incompetent CUSTOMER SERVICE???
When I got home I opened the box and inspected the part. It had a bad profile machine cut (edges not cut straight), misaligned mounting holes, some edges not painted, some edges with paint overflow ridges. All in all - BAD QUALITY ! ! !
I wrote to Josh (the owner) to express my concerns . . . he wrote back saying "We only buy the frames raw. They are all like that. If you don't like, just send back for a refund.".
I replied with a request to have RPI send a 'call tag' for return shipping for the defective part. I DID NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Was I off base to suggest that the supplier pay for the shipping on this DEFECTIVE PART ? ? ? I think not. Why should a CUSTOMER pay for the SUPPLIERS ERRORS ? ? ?
In Summary: - POOR QUALITY and INCOMPENTENT & UN-FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE ! ! !
